The Small Business Resource Centre has a variety of services available to assist the new and established business.
Counselling Services are available free of charge, to new and established businesses. Some examples of counselling topics include: business plan development, loan package preparation and financial management.
Other services include:
• Ontario Business Connects Workstation
Clients can register and renew their business name, as well as apply electronically for Retail Sales Tax Vendor Permit, Employer Health Tax, Health Tax for the Self Employed, and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
• Computer Workstations
The resource centre has two computer workstations, with Internet access available for business purposes, including marketing research and business plan development.
• Resource Library
Our resource library has a comprehensive selection of print, electronic and video resources to assist those wanting to start, manage or expand their business. The CDC has a partnership with the Canada–Ontario Business Service Centre, who provides an extensive source of print and electronic information, as well as information on provincial and federal government programs and services.
